My first PINK Saturday

I love the colour pink, especially rose pink, but any pink except neon pink will do! So here is what I've chosen for my first item:

This is myself at 6 months old, wearing a darling pink dress, which I believe I still have in my cedar chest. The photo is hand coloured, as colour photography was too expensive in those days. My parents had my three younger sisters photographs done like this too. The photographer came to our home to take the photo. Can you believe it?

Here is one of my favourite Chatty Cathy dolls, purchased from a friend on Vancouver Island for the vast sum of $50! It belonged to his mother, so when she passed away, I bought it from him. Chatty didn't quite look this good. I had her repaired by a friend's husband in Ontario, who does fantastic work. She can even talk again! I bought her darling dress on eBay; it's a Daisy Kingdom outfit.
