This is what nature does with my garbage!I noticed a very large vine growing from the bottom of my composter. For a while it just had huge green leaves. Then it produced yellow blossoms and I thought it was a zucchini plant.
I was wrong! This vine is growing 3 little pumpkins.
I've always wanted to grow pumpkins but I always forget to plant seeds.
So my composter did it for me! I threw our 2008 Halloween pumpkin in the composter last fall.
Isn't nature sweet?
