A beautiful Christmas evening

This is my "new" Chatty Cathy friend, Isabelle, with her hubby, Walter,
in their beautiful home.
Last evening we were there to view the amazing Christmas village that they put up each year.
I was intrigued as I love miniature anything, and I practically begged Isabelle to let me see it.
She invited us and Linda P over for Christmas tea and a viewing.
Isn't this fantastic? If you click on all photos you'll see all the details.
I just LOVE it! The village is set up in the family room. It takes about one week to put it all together. Walter made the risers that the village sits on. He is a great carpenter! This was one of my favourites. Linda, me, and Isabelle in the really neat doll room, which is also a sun room. Isabelle has her Chatty Cathy dolls arranged so cute! They each have a stand. She has acquired quite a few since buying some from me this past spring. I believe Isabelle is now addicted. Here is the delicious spread that awaited us after we finally emerged from the family and doll rooms! Isabelle is a very fine baker.
Isabelle and Walter surprised Linda and I with a wonderful gift of a handmade doll coat rack!
The rack is made from a finial and a spindle with a base, and 4 gold hooks.
It's just the neatest thing! My Emily came with (pardon her red socks; it's all she owns) and the new girl, Jenna, came too.
It was a wonderful evening visiting kindred spirits!
Thanks so much, Isabelle and Walter!
Merry Christmas!
