CONTEST NOW CLOSED.
I'm having another give-a-way tonight. All you have to do is leave a comment on this post, saying why you would like to become an authentic Canadian. I'll draw a name on Wednesday evening. You will receive the cute booklet above, which I picked up at Canada Place Welcome Centre downtown on Saturday. There are 13 pages of unique information, such as why our $1 and $2 coins are called Loonies and Toonies, and what our official emblem is. It's quite fun!

Dear Tante Loretta,
I want to become an authentic Canadian because I can already speak French and have my own bagpipes, and I think it would be fun to play hockey, 'cause then Maman would have to buy me skates and a hockey stick and not get mad at me if I bumped into people. I think Canada is the only place that hockey and bagpipes and French all work together. Besides, nobody else in the family except Maman's human son-in-law is Canadian, and I want to be special!
