However, I've lost 7 lbs and I measured myself yesterday, and I've lost 1" around the waist, and 1" around my hips. I'm quite pleased with that, but I do have a long way to go.
I walked to the Burnaby library and to Metrotown yesterday. It was 13 C and broke another record for warmth on February 4. I walked along Central Park, which is only 15 minutes from my house. The park engineers have built a long paved path running the length of one side of the park, along the Skytrain route. It's open, with lots of new lighting, and I feel very safe there. I don't know why I haven't tried it before now, as it saves me $3.75 fare.
Notice the photo above. Our allergies are beginning to annoy us.

Congrats on your weight loss...I have had a wonderful time visiting your blog and past Chatty tea party post..I have a vintage Chatty Cathy and Chatty Baby as well...I would loved to redo them as you have yours..I received my first Chatty Baby in 1964 for a Christmas gift while my sister got Chatty Cathy...I do wish I still had my original Chatty but, sadly that isn't the case...I most likely have many more dolls now that I am older than I ever owned as a child...they just make me happy..smile..blessings
Congratulations on the weight loss. Can't wait for the Olympics.
Good for you! I can't wait to see blossoms like that on our trees!
