Adolph and Helen BrutkeI attended a SCBWI workshop this past Saturday. It was intense, informative and interesting, and once again I'm inspired to finish my manuscript. I wish I had a picture of my Grandma Helen when she was little. I don't think they took photographs in Russia at the turn of the last century. If they did, they must have left them behind. If any family members who might read this post have any photos, please let me know about them! I wish I could dream about Grandma Helen. She needs to become real to me in order for me to continue to write her story.
