My 50th birthday

My sister Marlene, and her husband, Dan, sent me this gorgeous flower arrangement, waiting for me when I got home from sharing cake with my parents.

Beautiful carnations, freesia, daisies, and yellow roses!

Here it is, the big 50.
There's nothing I can do about it now.
Robert took me out to Langley and we browsed antique stores, a quilt shop, and a scrapbook place, and had lunch at A & W. It was a fun day.
Robert gave me a pretty bouquet of flowers and a beautiful card.
The above pictures were taken by Isabelle, my doll collecting friend. They were taken last Saturday, when the girls and I went for lunch at an Italian restaurant.
Really, I do love birthday celebrations!
I've added more photos up above; my beautiful birthday cake from St. Germaine's Bakery at the mall; it's a sponge cake and it's superb! I love Chinese bakeries; they make the best cakes. The cake was filled with fruit and had real whipping cream, not icing. Yummy.
