How time really does fly.

I had one article accepted by the local newspaper. Yay!

I never heard back about the other one.

Well, at this rate I'll never be wealthy, but I'm pleased about the one accepted article, even though it's volunteer work and doesn't involve payment.

I still enjoy seeing my name in print!

Last Saturday I attended my SCBWI crit-nic in the park. It was enjoyable.

We met in Queen Elizabeth Park and the day was so pretty.

We discussed our writing in the shade of the trees, while eating our various lunches.

It seems like I've lived outdoors this summer. It's been fantastic!
