100 years ago today my Mom's grandparents arrived in America.
I'm so thankful God led them to this wonderful country.
They settled in Oregon, after living for a few years in Texas.
My Mom married a Canadian, and so here I am in Canada.
However, I don't take my inheritance for granted.
I am filled with gratitude for God's blessings on our family.
This picture shows my Mom's Mother's family. She made the girl's dresses.
She was an excellent seamstress. She was already married at the time of this photo in 1913.

How nice that you still have this old photo.. Families back then were started early and the ladies were certainly good at sewing, cooking and taking care of a home and family. Today many girls know little about cooking or sewing.I should get out a couple of mine to share ..
