Another exciting evening here in Vancouver BC, and to top it all off, it was a gorgeous warm day!
There wasn't one speck of rain in the area. It was heavenly.
Robert and I decided to be completely silly and go downtown to mingle with the hockey nuts.
This is the crowd of wealthy ticket holders heading into Rogers Arena, formerly named GM Place.
Granville Street. If you click on the picture, you may see the large TV screen in the distance.
There wasn't any way I could see it, being of small stature.
We ate our supper in the empty crepe store on the right.
It doesn't look like much, but it was superb; handmade crepes with egg and Swiss cheese; Robert had his with chicken added to it. Matthew introduced us to these crepes.
The crowd on Granville St, just outside the Crepe Cafe.
We watched some of Game Two on that large screen on the side of Canada Place.
It's more exciting at home, so we headed back there during the second period.
I just noticed that aside from the title of this post, I haven't said what the game was about or who was playing, but of course everyone knows it's the Canucks battling it out between the Boston Bruins!
I snapped this picture while going past in the Skytrain. This is where the action took place.
Alex Burrows scored the winning goal, only 11 seconds into Overtime. It was the neatest shot I've seen yet!
Go Canucks Go!
