Little by little...

We're making up lists now. We might forget something important! I have a strange way of packing. Whenever I think of something important, I put it in a pile. My pile is on the window seat in our room, and another is on my bathroom counter.
Robert thinks this is a very odd way to pack. He makes up lists on the computer, and scratches out each thing as he does it. That's logical. I'm not logical. I never was.
I also had a drawer full of things I really didn't want to forget, and now those things are in the suitcase. Packed. Ready to go. Whew. They're really important things, like souvenirs, my tiny umbrella, a doll's leg, slippers, and personal items.
The clothes aren't in there yet, but they're in a growing pile on the window seat. I'll pack them last.

Okay, let me get this straight. You are carrying only one suitcase and you are filling that necessary space with a doll's leg, an umbrella and souvenirs? What is going on with you girl? Take that stuff out of there, put in your clothes, make up and undies and leave room to BUY those souvenirs! I can see that I need to accompany you on this trip because you need a chaperone! lol

Hey I am looking to inspect your suitcase and purse! Aren't you done packing yet? My goodness, I think you should put in a few more items just in case you run into Monty Hall and he want to play Lets Make a Deal with you. How about adding some paper clips, coffee filters, tongue depressors, dog biscuits, tape, denture cleaners and a swiss army knife to your staff.

say, i saw someone on youtube with a swiss army knife guitar, that would suit both you and robert but i suggest wrapping it in a box and putting it in the bowels of the plane, do not, i repeat, do not, attempt to carry it on the plane.

well, I actually pack in piles as well, so you aren't the only one.
thank you for your kind comment on my blog.
Do enjoy your travels. I hope the packing comes to an eventual end and the plane can be boarded real soon.
