It snowed another 3" last night; a real blizzard, but some of it melted by morning and became a sheet of ice. Robert took an old spade of my Dad's and hacked away at the front sidewalk when he got home.
I'm going to try my best to update this blog once per week, or more often, and see how many posts I can do in 2009. Hopefully I'll get a larger reading base, but very few of my friends and relatives enjoy reading blogs, unless I'm in a foreign country.
My dream of PEI came true this year in June, and the only place I'd really like to see again at the moment is sunny Hawaii! That would really help my doldrum blues. After seeing Hawaii again, I'd love to take an Alaskan cruise, a Mediterranean cruise, and visit parts of Europe such as Russia, Vienna, Germany and Ukraine. Then I'd like to explore Canada. I think I need 9 lives.
Hope you all have a wonderful New Year in 2009!
Here's a view of my bedroom balcony: (if you click on it, you'll really get a marvelous view)

The snow looks beautiful in your picture, but I know it gets old after a while. I still remember! Let's keep blogging in 2009.
Evening Loretta.......Your picture is beautiful. Still I am happy to say we have NO snow. Yet I live in Alaska. Now what is wrong with that picture. lolol Actually today was really nice out. One would have only needed a sweater.
I really enjoyed your blog. Jeannie
