Another gym day!

I'm on a roll! I went to the gym again today, and did a longer work out. I traveled there by transit as we now have black ice on the roads and sidewalks, but that also means it froze and the SUN is SHINING. It's such a novel sight for us. I told my hubby yesterday that I don't think humans should be living here. It must be bad for our health in the long run.

We took a 40 minute walk with Kelsie in the afternoon, and it was heavenly. I kept staring at the blue sky. I'm going to try my best to get to the gym twice per week and maybe three times. I'm going to record it here whenever I do. I got home on the same ticket, so I didn't go to the mall. I'm actually sick of the mall. All it has is shoe stores and stores for tooth pick thin people.

I'm trying to use up my craft/fabric/paper supplies that I already have in my home, instead of purchasing more. That's another goal for this year; less shopping!

Yesterday after church we went to the "On On", a Chinese restaurant owned by the brother of an old school friend of mine, on Kingsway, past the White Spot in Burnaby. I love the menu! We had spring rolls, Robert had sweet and sour soup with shrimp, then we had tomato beef on steamed rice, chicken chow mien with veggies, and almond breaded chicken. Mmm...it was all very delicious. I could eat there every Sunday! We always have left overs to take home. Yummy. Here are 2 pictures taken in May 2008 at the On On. Usually we order beef wraps shown in the 2nd photo, but we tried something new yesterday. Whatever we try is just superb.

The next time I come out (October most likely) we'll have to eat there! It sounds delicious!!!
