This photo was taken from my front porch last Friday; proof that we still have snow on the ground in our yard after EIGHT weeks, and guess what it's doing right now? Winter has just started, but I planted some primulas anyhow, seeing as the winter pansies didn't have a chance.

...and I did a little yard work today. I used the weed eater to knock down the brownish looking ferns around the trees in the backyard. Now the new green ones will sprout up. And the front needs mowing...the grass isn't growning much but the weeds sure are popping up. I'd still like some of that snow! Come on...share. Every so often they tell us we'll be getting a Canadian cold front...why can't we get your snow too?
Betty you are welcome to every flake of our snow (I just read her comment...LOL)Only condition...you need to share the warmth!!
The Primroses are very pretty, Loretta. I saw some shivering outside of Walmart last time I was there...I am sure they were begging for coats or a blanket...
