Pink Saturday

Welcome to another PINK SATURDAY!  This lovely lady, wearing her delightful pink jacket and skirt scattered with pink roses, is made by Royal Doulton. I've always secretly wanted a Royal Doulton figurine, but they were always too expensive. However, I found this sweet Miss in a Winner's store for only $18.00 Cdn! (I might have mentioned before that I'm getting very fond of Winner's.)

Here is one of my favourite dolly tea sets. Yes, it's Chatty Cathy or American Girl size. It was given to me by a doll collecting friend from California. She surprised me one Christmas with so many sweet things for myself and my Chatty dolls, in a doll swap gift. Please click on the picture for a close up larger picture to see all the detail.

This is one of my favourite wall hangings. It's a print by Lena Liu. I couldn't take a picture right in front of it, because of the glare from my living room lights. This print hangs over my fireplace. I just love it.
You can get a better idea of what the picture looks like in the shot below. I took this photo last fall. How many pinks can you see in my living room?

I totally Love the Doll Tea set! I am going to have to start looking for one myself soon. I just got Miss Lily and Wicker Tea Table and 2 chairs and I am hoping by the time she is 2 or 3 I will have her all Tea-d Up and ready to go!
Happy Pink Saturday!

Hi there, kiddo! Sounds like you had a great time this weekend, especially since you had a chauffeur! I'm so happy that you liked the cookies...me, too, but I do want to try on a bathing suit...one day, so I try to eat only a couple when I make them for the grandkids.

As for my blog, I didn't create the blog background, found that on the web somewhere (I'll search it out if you are interested) but I did do the banner. Just let me know and I'll do one for you, if you'd like me to. I like to tinker around with my computer when I have the time. Lately with the late spring here in northern MI, I have plenty of time on my hands because I can't get into my garden yet!

Hugs to you!

What a lovely lady figurine. She must be off to see her friends for an afternoon tea. The tea set is perfect.

I put up my Pink Saturday post and then got sick. I haven't visited but a few blogs and I did that on Saturday. I went to a doll show on Sunday, but just walked around once and came home because I didn't feel well and then spent the rest of Sunday and Monday in bed. I didn't even get online for two days. I know some people that go to that doll show in Washington every year, but they're Ginny people. Enjoyed all your pretty pink things!
