I'd meant to have a photo op with my dolls today.
However, it was a heavenly 23 C today, which translates to 76 F for you dear American readers. Who could stick around the house and work?
Not me! I went downtown with my parents on the Skytrain subway system, and we visited the library. Afterwards we had lunch, then roamed around near the waterfront where I took the above photo.
If I get my photo op done in the next few days, I'll post it here.
May Day was a special day when my Mom was a young girl.
She would weave a little basket out of paper, and fill it with wild flowers
found on the farm where she lived in Amity, Oregon. Then she would
hang it on her older sister's door knob (she lived across the street in a little
cabin) and she would knock and run away. The whole idea was that
you wouldn't be caught!
When I lived on the same street as my parents from 1987 - 1994, my Mom
kept up the tradition with me, using flowers from her garden.
