A late pink Saturday!

Oops. I totally forgot all about Pink Saturday! I don't know where the week went. Today I attended an SCBWI (Society for Children's Book Writer's and Illustrators) event, from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. I'm exhausted, but it was a fantastic day with five wonderful speakers. I'm all hyped now to finish my Young Adult novel. I discussed how to set realistic goals for this with my hubby when I got home. I seem to need a prod or two to get any task finished lately. He gave me some good pointers, so I will post here when my first chapter is re-written, and ready for the next SCBWI meeting on May 30.
I made the Mother's Day card pictured above. The scanned photo on it shows my mom holding my sister Leona, and myself standing next to her. Two more sisters came along after this picture was taken in 1963. I love this photo. I think I have the best Mom in the whole wide world. Please notice the PINK in the picture...and please visit Beverly's Blog to see more lovely pinks!
