Matthew's wisdom teeth

Isn't this picture fascinating? These whoppers were removed from Matthew's mouth today.

The one on the right was impacted. Ugh.

I wonder why they're called "wisdom teeth".

And I wonder why we grow them, only to have them removed?

The mysteries of life abound.
