Making lists and checking them twice...

Each year I do this dreadful thing.
I bite off more than I can chew.
This year I planned to be different. Oh well...I did go out and enjoy many events and concerts, so I'm pleased with that.
But I left the cleaning and the gift wrapping to the very last 2 days, and then my neck gets stiff and I suffer angst! I scrubbed and cleaned all day yesterday, and today I'm putting together appetizers and making salads for a Christmas Eve buffet here at our house, and wrapping last minute gifts I'd forgotten about, and trying to figure out some games to play, as everyone loves to do that!
I love to have people over, but I need to get more organized.
Alas, Robert told me the other day I wasn't disciplined. Sniff...sniff...
I find I'm easily distracted, and don't stick to one task until it's completed.
It's a great fault of mine.
Well, enough of that...I hope each one of you that reads this pathetic blog of mine, will have a blessed Christmas Day, enjoying Jesus Christ, the Reason for the Christmas Season!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I'm the exact same way. I have trouble staying on task and am easily distracted. And I used to get a lot more done before the Internet. :) Merry Christmas Eve!

Hi Loretta! Hope your Christmas celebrations will be as beautiful as your plans sound. And that you will relax and enjoy it all. I gave up all that stuff years ago, and will do nothing but go to church tonight. But I'll be thinking of you! Have a blessed and joyous Christmas, and don't forget the promise of PEACE on Earth!

Loretta, tell Robert that "artistic" people are not suppose to be disciplined..it ruins their artistic abilities and inspirations.
