Happy 105th birthday, Bleuette!

I took this photo today. Yes, the pink ornamental cherry trees are really blooming! It's quite balmy outside, although overcast. We've hardly seen the sun in January, but at least we didn't see any snow. Isn't this outfit darling? My friend, Phyllis, made it. We are doing a Valentine swap. This is Yvette Marie's first Valentine's outfit, and today is her 105th birthday.
Of course Yvette is a reproduction, hand made by Connie Zink, but she really believes she's from France, where the Bleuettes were produced in 1905. I find it difficult to believe that I knew nothing about them at this time last year!

What a day, 105 years later. That is something to bow down to, clap about and shout yipppee...just to think of all the Victorian little girls she made so happy. Thanks for the doll memories. They are simply beautiful.
