I've been noticing lately how quickly time is passing.
Here is a case in point. The above photo was taken in April 1990.
Matthew is on the left; Colin on the right. One of our favourite places to visit was Eaton's Centre. Eaton's was a fantastic department store at one end of Metrotown Mall; Woodward's was at the other. Those were the glory days of Metrotown.
Here are Matthew and Colin; picture taken today, April 28, 2010.
What fine young men they are; so handsome. I bribed them to pose for me by taking them both out for lunch at Boston Pizza afterwards. We had a fun visit.
Eaton's and Woodwards are long gone.
I think things have changed a bit since the previous photo was taken...

Isn't it amazing what happens in twenty years? The boys are all grown up and the fountain behind them as grown too.

Love the men in your life...just love the fact they are both who they are...a bit opposite I'm thinking?
My Sadie Mae is having her 7th birthday tomorrow...long live our dolls and puppy dogs!
My grandma Elder always had candy from Eatons in her apron pocket. I loved the bag, the smell and her.

This is both scary and amazing, isn't it? A song keeps going through my head so I looked it up...it is about a little girl but change the words to apply to boys and it fits

TURN AROUND
Written by: Harry Belafonte, Alan Greene & Malvina Reynolds

Where are you going
My little one, little one
Where are you going
My baby, my own

Turn around and you’re two
Turn around and you’re four
Turn around and you’re a young girl
Going out of the door

Turn around, turn around
Turn around and you’re a young girl
Going out of the door

Where are you going
My little one, little one
Little pigtails and petticoats
Where have they gone

Turn around and you’re tiny
Turn around and you’re grown
Turn around and you’re a young wife
With babes of your own

Turn around, turn around
Turn around and you’re a young wife
With babes of your own

Where have they gone
My little ones, little ones
Where have they gone
My babies, my own

Turn around and they’re young
Turn around and they’re old
Turn around and they’re gone
And we’ve no one to hold

Turn around, turn around
Turn around and they’re gone
And we’ve no one to hold

Where are you going
My baby, my own

Great pictures! You should have made them sit in the strollers again so we could have seen how much they've really grown. (I think you would have had to buy them breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a year to get that one!) :)

I would never be able to take pictures like that because we've moved too many times over the years!

I know how long 20 years ago is...all I have to do is look at pictures of me 20 years ago...groan.
