He loved Kindergarten. He had no problem leaving me. I didn't worry about him at all, because he loved learning new things, and he still does. Because he was an only child, he had a bit of a problem with sharing, but on the whole he got along well with the kids, and enjoyed making friends. His favourite activity was the fire pole in the room. He loved to slide down it "one last time" when I came to pick him up. He also loved the monkey bars on the playground. It's been 16 years since he had his first day of school. I really don't know where the time goes! I'm glad we had the chance to send him to a private Christian school for his elementary school years.

How cute is that. I too, remember my first day of school in Bellingham. I can still feel my moms hand walking me up the sidewalk. The big doors to the school looked so huge. My first teacher was a round loving mother goose type of women just like my mom. Sweet memories stirred up.
Rain, rain go away, don't come back another day.
