Pink Saturday...April 9, 2011

It's cherry blossom time here in Vancouver, BC.
I had a cup of tea in my vintage cherry blossomtime cup by Royal Albert, before setting off to see the delightful trees in my neighbourhood.

My Secret Sister sent me this beautiful pink card for our anniversary. I just love it!
The blossom candleholder is by a candle company; I recently attended a party in my friend's home, but can't remember the name of the company! I just love this holder.
This row of 17 trees is located on Austrey Ave in Vancouver.
Tour busses come to see this avenue, which is stunning in its beauty.
The trees are very old.

This is taken in the new part of my neighbourhood, with young cherry trees.

Back to the row of ancient trees.

A last shot of Austrey Avenue.

Our dog, Kelsie, enjoying the nature walk, and I hope you did too!
It was fun to be part of Pink Saturday once more.
I love pink! To see more pink please visit Beverly at How Sweet the Sound!

Oh, those are just absolutely exquisite trees! And I love your pretty china, too, and your sweet pup!

I have never seen these trees in bloom, but your pictures are enough to tempt me to make a trip to see them. GORGEOUS. Thanks for sharing. The trees make a stunning contrast against the blue sky!

Happy Pink Saturday to you...

XO,

Sheila :-)

Cherry Blossoms still my heart and take my breath away. How blessed you are to experience these; what beauty and abundance; It's what Our Father wants for us here on earth. Blessings Terri www.morningdewdrops.typepad.com

What gorgeous pictures! We are down the road in Mount Vernon, Washington and were commenting today on how pretty our cherry blossoms were! Thanks for your sweet comments on my blog. My background was designed by Rachel at Bubbly Nature Creations. I had it done right after my 4th son was born in May and then she designed a birth announcement with the same graphics. Hope you have a lovely weekend!
