Snow in Vancouver

Yesterday Robert worked from home.
He also had his eyes checked, and of course needs new glasses but at least he doesn't have glaucoma.
However the eye doctor could see damage in his eyes from high blood pressure!
The damage is slight but noticeable.
Robert's HBP is now under control due to medication.
I took his bus pass and went downtown in the frigid temperatures.
It was odd to see snow on the sidewalks.
It was around -2 C. Brrr...

These photos look like the bleak midwinter!
And winter has just begun; it isn't the middle yet. Ack!
This shot was taken near Broadway and Cambie.

I shopped a bit in Michael's, using a 40% off coupon.
I bought a Valentine's banner for my front porch.
I have every other season except Valentine's!
Afterwards I took the Canada Line train back to the Waterfront, and braved the elements to take this shot. No one else was around. It was a nice day to get a breath of really cold air!

OK, those photos were so dark, I thought I'd add this one, taken in my front yard.
I won an adorable knit set for my Bleuette on my BSC group.
Isn't it darling?
I also won the beautiful handmade coat last year. I've won quite a few prizes.

Oh Margaret...did you say -16????
EEWWW!!!!
I'm glad YOU live in Barriere and not ME!
Today it's -8 with wind chill. It's awful out there.
I'm a tropical minded sort of person. Stay warm!
