A new thing for me.

Today I'm trying a new thing!
I love to do that at the beginning of each new year.
I used to make resolutions long ago, but gave that up and instead I set goals.
It helps to write down the goals, and cross them off as they are accomplished.
Best of all it really works for me.

A new online friend, Stephanie, has set up a linky party each Tuesday.
I checked out some of the wonderful links to the other beautiful blogs and they are well worth reading.
Stephanie's link button is to the right on my side bar.
The above quote is one of my favourites. I think I'll add it to the side of my blog.
You can learn all about me in the rest of this blog, as I've been posting since 2007.

One of my passions is doll collecting and sewing.
You can also find me on Facebook and Pinterest.
I think it will be very rewarding to "meet" all the new people who stop by here.
Thank you so much, Stephanie, for the link up!

The best fun of doll collecting for adults is dressing them up for each holiday season. I think your little lady looks adorable in her Valentine dress!
And I agree with you about setting goals. They are not as rigid as resolutions and leave room for changes with no definite time deadline!

Hi Loretta! I was thrilled to see you had linked up at Roses of Inspiration - thank you so much :)

I am not big on making resolutions either. It seems like I never follow through which just makes me feel bad so instead I take each day as it comes :)

I agree wit J, you sweet doll looks lovely in her Valentine dress. I don't have many dolls, but I do have one that belonged to my precious Grandma Betty - she sits on top of my piano in my craft room.

Have a great week! Hugs!

Hello Loretta, thanks for visiting me today.
Your dolls are so very sweet! I would love to have a collection myself.. but dolls give my poor hubby the creeps, lol!
Wishing you a very happy new year, too.
Blessings..Trish xx

Hi Loretta, isn't it wonderful that Stephanie has started a Linky party, we get to visit blogs we may never know of. I use to collect dolls, but have given some to my granddaughters and other people that will love them also.I still have many, mostly Raggedy Ann. Yes, yours is very pretty!

Hello, I have never even thought of dressing up a doll for the holidays, it is really a cute idea! I hope to stop in again and to see what you're up to! It will be a good year if I could just keep up with all that has been going on! But I finally think I have some time to rest and look at what we might be up to this new year! Blessings, Roxy
