Thrifty Thursday

It's ironic that I picked Thursday as the "thrifty" day, as I bought a summer purse today for only $5.00 at Payless Shoes. It was originally $30! I used a coupon of $4.00 off any item (which I got by doing a phone survey on my last purchase at Payless) I can't get over the great and fabulous deals in my part of the world. They're fantastic! However I'm trying to use what I have. My "new" sewing/craft room needs more storage containers. I don't know what I should use. My sister has some really neat tall plastic drawers on wheels in her apartment. I think I'll ask her where she got them.
How do you seamstresses organize your fabric? I have TONS of it! I inherited quite a bit from my mother-in-law's stash in 2001, and although I've used a bit of it, I don't know when I'll ever get it all used up. Probably never! I look around my home and realize that I'm a pack rat, and now I want to use what I have. I really do not need any fabric.

Chatty agrees. No, I don't need more fabric, or buttons, or accessories! This is my Ikea cabinet in the dining room. I'm in the middle of moving the fabric upstairs to the new sewing room, and I'm having fun re-arranging my china in the "new" space. I think I have too many collections...

I think Walmart or London Drugs or Zellers for the plastic drawers on wheels, I have a couple of them. I love looking at your pretty fabric!
