I'm definitely NOT a blogger when it comes to inserting photos. I've used this Blogpost for 2 years and still cannot figure out how in the world to insert pictures painlessly. I tried adding 3 photos to last night's post, showing this year's Valentine's gifts. When I insert them, they all go to the TOP of the post, so I have to "pull" them down with my mouse to the bottom of the post. One of the pictures would not move, so it has to be inserted in its own little post. Why can't I insert the photos where I like after I've typed the text? There must be a way...
Anyhow, this is the fantastic arrangement of a dozen red roses, pink balloons, chocolate and adorable plush teddy bear which my hubby surprised me with and I was tickled pink. I read some of the Pink Posts (couldn't ever read them all in one day) and there was a post totally against Valentine's Day; an anti-Valentine sentiment, in poor taste I thought. Of course I didn't leave a comment! I love Valentine's Day. I'm glad no one celebrates a Hate Day! I think the world needs more love, not less!

I love the roses you hubby gave you....I know what you mean about getting pictures where you want them...if you ever find out let me know....sometimes I push a button and they all go away.....Oh the world of blogging.....
sounds like you have a wonderful Valentines Day....
Hugs,
Mo :-)
Pretty roses with a cute teddy!
You're not alone. The pictures always appear at the top. Then I go into the HTML screen and copy and paste it where I want to put it in the text. Then I go back up to the top and delete the HTML. Then when I get all done I delete extra spaces and try and get it the way I want it to look. It's time consuming. I never even thought to try and drag it. DUH! I asked someone else and they have the same problem. I'm surprised blogger doesn't just insert the photo where the curser is located.
This past weekend I had the Pink Saturday logo in place. Everything was fine, but after I published it I discovered I had typed House of Houston instead of House of Houben. (I guess I had Houston on my mind.) Anyway, I went back and edited the Houston to Houben and published the post again. For some strange reason the Pink Saturday logo was gone. I decided not to spend two hours trying to fix it. :) I value my sanity.
Sorry about the picture thing, I hold my breathe when I add text for fear I'm going to delete a image. I'm bookmarking you, to few chatty cathy people! Happy late Valentines day.
How sweet.
I can;t believe the things I have figured out with all this blogging stuff. I use to get so frustrated.

Let me know when you figure out the picture thing too, please!! Your gifts from Robert are so sweet and thoughtful! the roses are gorgeous. Hope you are feeling better now!
Work in the HTML mode. Highlight and cut the pictures at the top. It looks like this: " bunch of symbols and writing"
Then skip past your text and paste the picture wherever you want it. Practice makes perfect.
Hi! Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment for Pink Saturday!
Awww such a sweet teddy bear and balloons! You have a good husband.
In Blogger all photos load to the top of the post. What I do is drop my photos in first, and then write my text, so that my text will be in between the photos.
If you upload a few photos always remember the first photo you select when your do the "browse" and click on it, will be the last photo if you go back and browse again and click on more and then upload them. You can upload five photos at a time. It took me awhile to get the hang of this as I usually have a lot of photos in my posts.
You can also go to the HTML part of the draft and cut and paste the photos where you want them. Just make sure you pick up all the code for each photo when you are cutting and pasting or blogger won't publish your post.
Hope this helps!
I also load my pictures first and like Pat says, I load them in reverse order of how I want them. Then I go back and put in the text. I have not accidently deleted pictures but have accidently put in two of the same picture because I would forget where I left off. Lol! But then I deliberatly delete the extra picture. Also wanted to thank you for visiting my Pink Saturday post. Hope you are having a good week!
Loretta, Happy belated Valentine's Day!
What beautiful flowers & balloons.
Blessings ~Mary~ :-}
