Easter Decorations & Cards

This year I was on a roll! I made quite a few Easter cards; here are some of them that I've mailed already. I enjoy making "one of a kind" cards. I think I'm now as good as my sister in law, Margaret. She is the one who inspired me to really get into card making. She has such superb ideas!

This is the cabinet in my kitchen which holds my cookbooks, teapots, everyday china, and lots of other things in the cupboards! I try to keep the shelf clear so it helps to decorate seasonally. If you click on all pictures, they'll enlarge with a lot of detail. Notice my egg cup holders on top? The one 3rd from the left was one I used as a little girl. The rabbit next to it was Matthew's when he was a boy. Alas, Robert didn't have one that he kept. I bought the beautiful hand painted plate from a lovely lady on Etsy. Many people ask me "what is Etsy?" but it's my secret.

Hello Loretta, thank you so much for stopping by and leaving such a sweet comment. I love your cards, you do really great work! So funny that you and I have the same plate from Celeste, she is a wonderful artist! Your pink saturday post is adorable!
Bless you, Shirl
