The phenomenal Alice Movie

Last Friday Robert and I went to our local mall, had dinner and watched the new "Alice in Wonderland" movie by director Tim Burton. We loved it! I've always been a fan of Alice and her odd adventures in Wonderland. The movie is the sequel to the story, combining elements from both the adventures in Wonderland, and through the Looking Glass. Alice is now 18 and has received a marriage proposal, but runs away from her engagement party, into the Victorian garden where all her family and friends and potential husband to be are gathered.
Yes, she runs after a white rabbit, and falls once again into a rabbit hole.
The characters, scenery in 3D, and the whole tale is wonderfully presented.
I could go and see it again. If you are a fan of the Jabberwocky poem, you will be entranced. The movie has a delightful ending, and Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter is something to see. Mia Wasikowska plays a charming Alice.

I'm curious...did you have to wear 3-D glasses while watching the movie?
