My dear Aunt Emma Casteel passed away this morning at 7:25 am, after a long and painful journey through the past 10 years of her life. I was looking at the beautiful clouds in the winter sky just now, and this verse dropped into my mind:
"There the wicked cease from troubling; and there the weary be at rest." Job 3:17
Aunt Emma is completely at rest and Home with the Lord, who she loved and served with all her heart. I'm so happy for her. I wonder what she's doing right now? As I scrubbed my house this afternoon, I thought, "Aunt Emma will never more scrub a toilet or vacuum!" At least, I don't think she will, and if she does, she will do so without being weary or in pain.
"Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours, and their works do follow them." Revelation 14: 13

My condolences, Loretta.
Dear Loretta, I am so sorry for your loss but you are so right about her being with Heavenly Father and having no more pain or sorrow.
Hugs,
Deanna
