I haven't participated in Pink Saturday since last year some time!
I love pink, but had actually run out of pink items to photograph.
These 2 little bonnets are the very first thing I've sewn in 2012.
I belong to a Bleuette doll club online, and Jan/Feb I'm in charge of the sewing challenge.
Bleuette dolls always need new clothes to wear.
They have an extensive wardrobe dating from 1905-1960.
The bonnets are drafted by my friend, Jennifer E.
The pattern is very easy to follow, and my little Bleus love their new headgear!
This little lass is playing Laura Ingalls.
The sewing challenge is to create an ensemble which Laura or Mary would have worn in the 1890's.
This is the prize bonnet for the winner, which will be drawn from the first 10 names who complete an outfit first.
We do have a lot of fun each month participating in the challenges, and our Bleuette dolls have very extensive wardrobes!
Please visit Beverly at the link in my side bar. Just click on "Pink Saturday" and you will be taken right there to see many more lovely pink blogs.

Those bonnets are really beautiful. What a fun hobby. I used to sew for my daughters' American Girl dolls when they were younger. It was lots of fun getting to play with dolls again. Thanks for visiting my blog. I am honored that I am the first Pink Sat. blog you visited in 2012. Happy PS and Happy New Year.
Blessings,
Tricia
The bonnets are adorable!
And beautiful pink bonnets they are. Happy Pink Saturday! Pat
Oh my gosh Loretta, I think you have out done yourself so far this year. What a great beginning.
The bonnets are adorable and fit the theme just perfectly.
To answer your question of where we stayed, it's Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach at Monte Cristo. It's located in Cabo San Lucas. I am sure they can be found on the internet....happy dreaming and a Very Happy Pink Saturday,
Char
